Mod Header/Parameter[edit]

Hi, I noticed your recent changes to the Dragonborn pages, whilst we do use the {{Mod Header}} and |mod= to distinguish between the base game and any mods/plugins released afterwards, because Dragonborn has its own namespace these aren't required to mark the pages as a mod/plugin as all pages beginning with Dragonborn: are only related to the Dragonborn DLC. Maybe so, but I felt it made it look more consistent, and wouldn't it be useful to at least have Dragonborn support for the mod header? SabSparrow (talk) 00:30, 4 December 2019 (GMT)
Mmm... Wouldn't it be preferable if Dragonborn item infoboxes would automatically include the mod header icon? Then it wouldn't need the mod parameter and would still be somewhat visually consistent with the infoboxes for other add-ons. SabSparrow (talk) 00:35, 4 December 2019 (GMT)
Whilst consistency is a good goal, theres also older games that we do currently have consistency with that this would change. Including Shivering Isles, Tirbunal and Bloodmoon. As these also are their own namespaces it would be better for consistency to update these as well, but this increase the number of affected pages quite easily into the hundereds (i'll get an closer article count later). If this is something you feel should be done accross the board, it would be best for a wide scale change to raise a topic on the Community Portal - this would have the added benefit of possibly enabling a bot to do them rather than adding them by hand. I feel i've read there was a reason not to automatically place page icons on an entire namespace, i'm looking to see if I can find the topic, or if its possible inherently with the mediawiki software. Kiz(email - talk) 00:52, 4 December 2019 (GMT)

Item Values[edit]

Hi, I see you've been updating item values for Creation Club items based on how they appear in-game. I imagine you've noticed these numbers aren't correct, as you've reverted a lot of those changes. However, I see some changes still remain. I imagine all of these edits need to be reverted, as the base value is taken directly from the game data. —Legoless (talk) 09:39, 15 November 2021 (UTC)

I'm not so sure about that, I'm pretty sure enchanted equipment is supposed to reflect their in-game values. I had to revert some values because USSEP was affecting the values and I had to check the values without USSEP, not because the base unenchanted value is the right one. AE Updates[edit]

Hi SabSparrow, thanks for the work on getting Skyrim:Relics of the Crusader updated with the Anniversary Edition changes. If you're making any further updates to existing CC quest pages, can I ask that you try to preserve or make a note of the deprecated information from the pre-AE versions of these Creations? See my changes as an example of the kind of information we want to keep on the page. —Legoless (talk) 13:18, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
