"Are you with the East Empire Company? They were supposed to be sending someone to help me inspect the mine. I don't care if you are or not, all I need is for someone to accompany me in case anything happens. I've inspected a lot of mines before, but there's something a bit off with this one. Can you help me out?" - Eraris Verenim

Eraris Verenim is a Dark Elf Agent found outside Anbarsud mine. He is meant to inspect the mine, but has a very bad feeling about the place. Choosing to help him begins the events of Iron and Blood, and depending on your choices, Eraris may never again emerge from Anbarsud. If he does survive however, he will be decidedly euphoric:

"You did it! %PCName, we're saved! Let's get out of here. Forget the report, I'm getting out of this mess. If anyone from the East Empire Company asks, tell them I quit."
