New food items are added to this expansion. Both in Baking and in Cooking. Also because you can catch Slaughterfish whole, you can now cook Slaughterfish. Also you can now make cheese and other recipes that were otherwise unavailable without this Creation Club. I managed to finish this Creation Club and it was very fun. Please put a note for Windstad Manor Fish Hatchery. All fish caught in this expansion can be added to the Hatchery. Also adding a Angler Larvae to the Hatchery will net a fully grown Angler fish, the easiest Rare fish to catch this way. I haven't figured out how to make the Aquariums though as Windstad Manor is my only Hearthfire House in this game so far. 131.191.116.211 23:11, 13 November 2021 (UTC)

Apparently the Rare fish can be found swimming in certain areas.[edit]

Lyretail Anthias can be found in the pool of water at Evergreen Grove. Angelfish can be found in the pool of water by the waterfall inside of Ancestor Glade.

Scorpion Fish can be found in the pool of water immediately after entering Darkfall Cave! That's all 4 found!

Angler can be caught using the Argonian Fishing Rod at Pilgrim's Trench fishing site.

Fishing Creation tied directly to 11/11/21 Update. There is no turning it off unless you have an older copy. With it comes a lot of bugs.[edit]

The biggest bug this Creation Club causes is the addition of Clams in the Windstad Manor Fishery. If you're on Anniversary Edition, you can wait a week somewhere else and the new fish introduced by this Creation will spawn at the fishery. However if you are on Special Edition, you can get the no-spawn bug and the new fish won't spawn and sometimes the old ones won't spawn. To fix the issue, one must uninstall Skyrim and disconnect from the internet. After disconnecting and reverting to Skyrim from before the Special Edition, start a new game. Get to level 9 and get Lakeview Manor (( The land at least must be purchased before Windstad Manor. For some reason Sigdeir won't sell you the land or give options for it if you get Windstad Manor first. )) . Once you get Lakeview Manor then get Windstad Manor, build the small house only and then the Fish Hatchery. Fishing Creation alters the Celler so drastically that to be on the safe side, do not ever build the main house/cellar. You want to build the Fish Hatchery in Old Skyrim because by doing so this way, the Clams won't be there. You don't get a choice of whether the clams are added or not in the forced update, because they are there as is the bug associated with them. After you build the Fish Hatchery you can then connect to the internet and download all the updates. When the Hatchery is built on an old version and updated to new version, the clams won't be there and the fish old and new will spawn as normal. --131.191.116.211 21:00, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

Clams could always be farmed at Windstad, and the bug with fish not spawning sometimes was present prior to the Anniversary update. —Legoless (talk) 10:40, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
Legoless I am saying the Aniversary Edition/ 11/11/21 update forces the clams on us and thus the bug. I have detailed it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/r2s1eh/windstad_manor_fishery_without_clams_and_with_all/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share due to needing to post multiple links. I also detailed how to get around it. It is a pain to get around it on console though. --131.191.116.211 23:24, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

Sorry, this is just not true. I tested around like mad and couldn't find any vectors or reasons why this bug persists, BUT: it has nothing to do with cellars, clams or whatever. I tested I think more than 20 times (same character) with the current/most recent Skyrim version. Vanilla fish spawn in 100% of cases. Non-Vanilla in approx. 20-30% of cases. Cellar or no cellar, clams or no clams (they do NOT spawn if not added, for me at least), not level dependent, not quest dependant it seems. It just doesn't work most of the time. Yet still, noone seems to really care, so...

Number of fishing sites[edit]

Please discuss the number of fishing sites here on the talk page rather than edit-warring with no justification of why each is right or wrong. Also, consider whether the unofficial patch or some other mod could be altering that number. Robin Hood(talk) 16:58, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

After checking in the Creation Kit, a 70th fishing spot does exist, but is located in the Marker Storage Unit and therefore cannot be accessed. I have added this to the Notes of the activity page. --Enodoc (talk) 18:09, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for doing so. Should clear up any confusion people could have.Zebendal (talk) 18:46, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
