Rising from the soil dark,
Hear the song in everything.

Woven tales from long ago,
With songs and stories still to show.
His spinners keep the hymn alive,
As the Green around us thrives.

O Y'ffre, great Y'ffre,
Whose tales formed Green and rock and sea,
Whose bones gave rise to seed and tree,
Whose song alone brought stars to shine,
We live to hear your call divine.

The narrative of life is long,
Brought to form by Y'ffre's song.
Past and future, here and now,
To woven time, all things must bow.

We feel it in the earth and sky,
In things that swim and grow and fly.
The story's power echoes deep,
Reminds us of the Pact to keep.
