Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Speak to Associate Zanon in his workshop after gathering all parts of the Precursor.
- Find Lector Trivura.
- Return to Associate Zanon.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
After finding and assembling every piece of the Factotum in Associate Zanon's workshop, talk to him.
He will reward you with The Precursor (page), a training dummy which can be installed in your home. He will also instruct you to find his sponsor, Lector Trivura, whom he has not seen in over a year. You'll find Trivura meditating inside the Mechanical Fundament.
Once Trivura has arrived to evaluate the Precursor, she has some unexpected things to say. Trivura is not impressed by the work Zanon has done, claiming that the Precursor is not a complicated ancient factotum, but on the contrary something that was created on purpose so that the less capable pupils could rebuild it over and over again. Neither Zanon or the Precursor are happy with the evaluation. In the following scene, Zanon storms out of his workshop, leaving the puzzled Precursor wondering, "But apostle, what of me?", to which Zanon simply yells "You can go jump in a recycling furnace for all I care!"
Notes[edit]
- Lector Trivura won't exist in the Mechanical Fundament before starting the quest.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
