Sharpened is a trait which can only be found on weapons. Once you have researched the trait on a given item type, you can craft Sharpened weapons by using Fire Opal. Items with the Sharpened trait will increase your Physical and Spell Penetration by an amount dependent on the level and quality of the item. 2-handed weapons provide twice the bonus of 1-handed.
