Guilds and Glory Celebration

The Guilds and Glory Celebration is an event that celebrates ESO's first four DLCs: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood. Its name is derived from the Guilds and Glory DLC pack, which contains all four. It runs from January 18 (10AM EST) to January 30 (10AM EST), 2024. It is a combination of the Year One and Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood Celebration Events from years past, but does not carry over the Craglorn bonuses from the former.

During the event, players will receive two reward boxes from daily quests in the Imperial City, Hew's Bane, Wrothgar, and the Gold Coast. Rewards from the Maw of Lorkhaj weekly quests, Dark Brotherhood Sacraments, and Thieves Guild Heists are also doubled. More resources will drop from nodes in the zones added by the relevant DLC. Additionally, world, delve, arena, and public dungeon bosses in all four affected zones, bosses within the Maw of Lorkhaj, and Patrolling Horrors/members of the Coldharbour Elite Guard in the Imperial City will all drop more loot when defeated.

The Bristleback Hunter outfit style and the first four fragments for the Molag Bal Illusion Imp pet/Planemeld's Master markings were introduced with this event.

Guilds and Glory Celebration 2024[edit]

Glorious Reward Boxes: Daily Quests[edit]

There are three methods by which Glorious Reward Boxes can be earned, with a total of three Glorious Reward Boxes per day. Each source rewards a Glorious Reward Box once per day. One box is rewarded upon completing your first daily quest in Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, or the Gold Coast. These boxes have a chance to drop the following rewards:

Crafting materials
Treasures to sell for gold
Style materials
- Cassiterite, Potash, or Auric Tusks from boxes dropped in Wrothgar
- Rogue's Soot, Fine Chalk, or Polished Shillings from boxes found in Hew's Bane
- Tainted Blood, Oxblood Fungus, Black Beeswax, or Pearl Sand from boxes rewarded in the Gold Coast
Overland item sets
Companion gear
Motif chapters
- Ancient Orc, Malacath, or Trinimac from boxes dropped in Wrothgar
- Outlaw, Thieves Guild, or Abah's Watch from boxes found in Hew's Bane
- Assassin's League, Minotaur, Dark Brotherhood, or Order of the Hour from boxes rewarded in the Gold Coast

Glorious Reward Boxes: Dungeons[edit]

A second Glorious Reward Box can be obtained by defeating the final boss in the Imperial City Prison, White-Gold Tower, and Maelstrom Arena. These have a chance to contain any of the above as well as dungeon set items from the aforementioned dungeons and items found in Regular Reward Boxes. Regular Reward Boxes can be obtained by looting the final boss of any of these dungeons after receiving your first dungeon-related Glorious Reward Box.

Glorious Reward Boxes: Imperial City[edit]

A third Glorious Reward Box can be obtained by completing daily quests in the Imperial City. They have a chance to drop any of the above rewards and loot found in Regular Reward Boxes except for style materials and motif chapters from the other three DLC zones. In addition to these rewards, Glorious Rewards from Imperial City daily quests may contain any of the following:

Tel Var Stones
Key Fragments
Imperial City item set pieces
Motif chapters from the Xivkyn, Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, or Ebonheart Pact styles

Regular Reward Boxes[edit]

Regular Reward Boxes can be obtained after receiving your first Glorious Reward Box for the three listed activities. These boxes can contain the rewards from the Glorious boxes as well as a chance to obtain the following:

Furnishing recipes from the zone the box was looted in
Treasure Maps and Survey Reports from the zone the box was looted in

Further Reward Boxes can be obtained by defeating world bosses in Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, or the Gold Coast, opening treasure chests/safeboxes/Thieves Troves, looting containers (barrels, backpacks, crates, etc), and harvesting crafting material nodes or Psijic Portals.

Event Tickets[edit]

Event Tickets are earned by completing any of the following tasks every day:

Completing Daily Delve and World Boss quests in Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, and the Gold Coast
Completing Thieves' Guild quests in Hew's Bane
Completing Dark Brotherhood quests in the Gold Coast
Completing Daily Quests in the Imperial City
Completing the weekly trial quest for the Maw of Lorkhaj
Killing and looting a Sweeper in Imperial City or the Imperial City Sewers
Killing and looting the final boss of the Imperial City Prison, White-Gold Tower, or Maelstrom Arena

2 tickets are rewarded each day for completing one of the above tasks, with the potential to collect a total of 26 tickets by the end of the event.
