10 What a surprise! Gorald is in the Limping Sandrunner. He got his own assignment from Clemente. While I'm on the lookout for the second Khajiit, he's looking for Omton, who is said to have stolen some amulet. Maybe we can support each other in our tasks.
20 Dor's Ten, the landlord, doesn't know where Da'Kharris or Omton have gone.
30 I decided to help Gorald find him.

60 Gorald wants me to search Omton's house while he waits outside. I found Omton's journal. It clearly states that it was he who stole the amulet, but there is no indication of where he could be.

90 Tassy, a dubious guy, told us that Omton is always in the Limping Sandrunner. The innkeeper probably knows more than he admitted.

140 Omton gave me the amulet and a replica of it. I can make up my mind now: either I lie to Gorald and let them both live, or I kill both of them. I still have the fire trap in my pack; I could certainly use it here. In addition, I can either hand over the amulet to Gorald or keep it and just give him the replica.

Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On PC It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDAss09QuestB stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
