Walkthrough[edit]

Deep in the ruins below the Order Manor, you'll find an old thief's hideout. He's long gone, but he left a note behind that talks about a chest he hid somewhere in the manor. The key for said chest is sitting on a windowsill in the Sleeping Area; the chest is in a room at the bottom of the stairs, accessible from a gate in the Sleeping Area.

Journal Entries[edit]

Mulbar's Chest (ODDNQMulbarQuest)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 I've found a strange note. It seems that during the years the manor stood empty, a thief lived in it. He writes that he hid a key to his chest somewhere here. The chest is in the bedrooms' basement. He doesn't say exactly where the key is, only that it lets the sun into the house. But what does that mean?
20 I've found the key that the thief had hidden. I suspect that it opens the chest that can be found in the bedrooms' basement.
30 I've opened Mulbar's chest. Very impressive, what this thief has hoarded here.
40
50 Finishes quest☑ It seems as if Mulbar secured his chest with a trap. When I closed the cover, a Dremora appeared to attack me.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On PC It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDNQMulbarQuest stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
