Tho'at Replicanum's Fate

As someone who hasn't played ESO: Necrom, I'm a bit confused about the final fate of Tho'at. To get the Inkslayer title, it says you need to defeat her final evolution, which is at the end of Arc 4. But elsewhere it seems Tho'at is stated to have replicated herself hundreds and hundreds of times. Is she defeated and the invasion halted when you defeat her final evolution? Tho'at's copies are never fully removed from the Infinite Archive as a result of playable events, there's always another one to fight. As Malkhest mentions during the first confrontation, there are likely already hundreds by that point, and she is still spreading as part of an ongoing process. Defeating the final evolution means winning the final variation of the boss fight in terms of mechanics, not completely lifting Tho'at's influence from the Archive.--Gleaming Veil (talk) 16:11, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
