Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to Kantav Cheynoslin and donate some money.
  2. Wait a few days.
  3. Talk to the beggars around town.
  4. Talk to the other priests.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

This quest is started through the Town Gossip topic, after you've gained 10 points of Leyawiin reputation. Talk to Kantav Cheynoslin about donations. He'll ask for 500 gold, which he says goes to the poor. If you decide to donate, you'll get a quest update telling you to wait a couple days. When the time comes, you'll get another one; at this point, you'll get several quest markers pointing to various beggars around town. Talk to them all, then go talk to the priests. They will all tell you basically the same thing: Kantav is rude, pompous and something of an ass, but the priests under him make sure the money is put to good use. Once you reach everyone, the quest will be complete.

6 Despite all the eloquence and persuasiveness of the Primate of the Great Chapel of Zenithar, with which Kantav Cheynoslin sought donations from me, I decided not to rush. Let's wait and see.
10 Kantav Cheynoslin, Primate of the Great Chapel of Zenithar, was very enthusiastic about the donation I offered. The Primate was filled with joy! Of course I gave, and even more than planned. But where the money goes should be checked. In a couple of days I will visit the beggars and look at the benefits that the primate bestows on them.
20 It has been some time since Primate Kantav Cheynoslin received a donation from me. I need to make sure that the money was used appropriately. I'll ask those in Leyawiin who are beggars and destitute.
25 I spoke with some of the poorest people in Leyawiin and learned that the priests of the Great Chapel of Zenithar regularly help them, with money, food, and work - which is very commendable. But, the question of the Primate himself remains open. I must talk with the priests of the chapel about Primate Cheynoslin. What will they tell me?
30 Finishes quest☑ The money is well spent. By bringing a donation to the Great Chapel of Zenithar, I can hope for the favour [sic] of the most influential people in the county, and, at the same time, help those who need it. Behind the rude, pompous and eloquent Primate is the Empire. And the grace of Zenithar.

Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On PC It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage BANLeyawiinConcerningPrimates stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
